It’s our birthday! The Proper Table’s doors have been open for one year now, and we’re so proud of what we’ve built. From a seedling of an idea during the pandemic, The Proper Table has grown beyond our wildest dreams. We’ve built an amazing team, we’ve found a home in a beautiful, supportive community, and we get to do what we love every single day.
We’ll never find the words to thank you all for your support over this past year, so instead, we’re having a celebration in store just for you! On Friday, October 29th and Saturday October 30th, the entire store will be15% off! Come celebrate with us from 10am-5pm at our storefront in Estevan Village.

From dream to reality…
Barb: Since our first shopping trip together, down to Seattle back in 2016, Shara & I have dreamt of a shop to call our own. Our love of napkins and small tabletop details clearly needed an outlet, and so when the opportunity to open the shop came about, it just felt like all the stars had aligned! Our goal has always been to show our customers how easy it can be to make every meal special (whether it’s a weeknight dinner at home or a long table feast with friends!) and so now between our little shop and our rentals, we are so proud to say we have done that.

Shara: The year has absolutely flown by and we are so proud and happy with what we have built so far. Working with Jess from Leisure has been a dream as her clothes add the perfect whimsical element to our entertaining vibed shop. We are also so lucky to have had the best team with Vanessa, Allie and Meghan on our team. Year one has truly been spectacular but there is so much more to come - more in store events, the online shop and new products we’re excited to bring to The Proper Table.

Barb: Our opening weekend will forever stand out for me! The number of people who came out to support us was incredible, and that energy has really carried us through this first year. Getting to create something new alongside someone that I truly admire has been a dream, and the ladies I get to work with continue to inspire me daily!

Shara: I am a textile junky so our napkins are my favorite. I love the prints of our Furbish napkins and the new no-iron cotton gauze everyday napkins for sprucing up any tabletop. I also love sourcing items that are classic but with a twist - our Century Glasses are the perfect example of that.
Barb: Our barware has always been a favorite for me. Especially our ice buckets. It doesn’t get any more perfect than that.
